Diaphragm valves: Manual or air actuated. These are specially designed for hygienic and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. This valve is excellent for controlling as well as on/off fluid flow.

Diaphragms seal the valve body and seat. There is no way for the fluid to come into contact with the environment. Therefore, this valve is suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is off, the pressure seal that holds up the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face of the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends, forcing it toward the seat area of the body center. This action shuts off the flow path to the valve body. The relevant design of the valve body and pressure plate prevents the diaphragm from being pressed. The valve can be operated manually or by air, and can also be controlled using a control top and solenoid valve.
