Category 5 cable (cat 5) is a twisted pair cable for carrying signals. This type of cable is used in structured cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet.

The Propaganda Department of Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, confirmed to the reporter of the China New Network on the 19th that the debris flow occurred at 22 o'clock in the evening on the 18th, which caused nearly 1000 mu of crop damage and direct economic losses of 1.57 million yuan. Fortunately, no casualties were caused.
Shangluo is located in the southeast of Shaanxi Province, in the Qinling Mountains, 110 kilometers from the provincial capital Xian. The unique climate and the three-dimensional conditions of the mountainous area have caused occasional droughts, hailstorms, heavy rain, lightning, continuous rain, strong winds, heavy snow, and other meteorological disasters.
At about 22:30 on the 18th, the oil-bearing village of Banqiao Town in Shangzhou District suddenly caused heavy rainfall and caused mudslides. After the incident, the local public security, firefighting and water affairs, civil affairs, housing construction, land and other departments immediately carried out emergency rescue, disaster statistics and remedial work.
After preliminary verification, as of 14:00 on the afternoon of the 19th, 198 households in the village, a total of 645 people, were affected to varying degrees. In the village, there were 13 houses and 50 houses collapsed, 26 houses and 112 houses were damaged, 996 acres of crops were affected, 585 acres of disasters occurred, 88 acres of crops were lost, and 130,000 kilograms of food were lost because of disasters, and the direct economic loss was 1.57 million yuan. Among them, the agricultural economy lost 260,000 yuan.
It is reported that the local civil affairs department has already distributed relief foods such as convenience foods, purified water, and bedding to the victims. The landslide caused no casualties.
