Therefore, we must take correct lightning protection measures before using electronic platform scales. In addition, lightning can cause electrostatic induction and electromagnetic induction in the internal circuit of the electronic loadometer, which can cause weighing errors and damage the electronic loadometer. Therefore, it is necessary to ground the electronic loadometer before using it.

The necessity of electronic pound lightning protection:

1. Weighing display instrument housing should be grounded. therefore. A grounding pile is set in the grounding scale room, and is connected with the reinforcement mesh (grounding) in the foundation of the scale. When a plastic shell is used, a metal film should be sprayed on the inner surface of the shell and then grounded.

2. Electrostatic induction, that is, the change of the ground atmospheric electrostatic field caused by lightning, causes the conductors near the lightning receiving object to generate induced charges, and constitutes an extremely high potential difference to the ground (grounding is connected to the ground of the embedded board ground, and the electronic truck scale platform is formed. Low electrical difference).

3. Electromagnetic induction, that is, the current in the lightning channel changes with time, forms a changing electromagnetic field in the space around it, and generates an induced voltage and eddy current on the conductive object attached to the channel.

Scales lightning protection measures:

1. The metal threading tube that runs through the signal cable must also be connected to the grounding grid.

3, each sensor should have protective grounding. Therefore, a grounding wire should be set for each sensor position, and a grounding pile should be set between the sensor and the ground. The grounding wire should be reliably connected to the grounding pile or the grounding wire must be connected to the nearest anchor bolt.

4. The entire weighing platform should be grounded. Use one or several grounding cables to connect the scale body to the grounding pile. The grounding pile should be in the zero zone where the potential is constant, and the grounding resistance is less than 4.

5. Lightning rods should be set above the scale body to neutralize the charges in the cloud clusters with the tip discharge effect so that the electronic truck scales will not be damaged due to lightning strikes.

6. Electromagnetic radiation is formed by the rapid change of current in the lightning channel. Since the electronic truck scale is only resistant to low pressure, the above-mentioned three kinds of physical processes caused by lightning are the parts of the electronic truck scale.

7. The shield of the load cell signal cable must be grounded. When the electronic truck scale is powered by the city power grid, there is a long distance from the power distribution room to the installation site, and there is also a long distance signal cable from the weighing platform to the scale room.
