Intel introduces the first 8-core desktop CPU

<

Intel has introduced the first desktop 8-core desktop CPU core i7-5960X. Based on the company's Haswell architecture, which was part of the platform last year, when the laptop was started, the CPU used Intel's new LGA 2011 slot V3 new CPU. This is not compatible with previous LGA 2011 CPU compatibility, partly due to the fact that the CPU is designed to work with the new DDR4 memory and Intel's newly released X99 motherboard chip.
The core i7-5960X has a 3GHz clock speed, 3 levels of cache, and 20 physical processor cores. The CPU also provides hyperthreading, making the total number of threads available in the 16 positions that can provide major performance advantages such as video editing and rendering.
The CPU can also dynamically adjust its clock speed to save power and also promote better performance at loads up to 3.5GHz. Other CPUs in this range include the core i7-5930K and Core i7-5820K, which have a 3.5GHz and 3.3GHz default frequency, and retail prices of 583 and 389, respectively.
