Diaphragm valves are manually or air actuated and specially designed for hygienic and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. This valve is excellent for controlling and on/off fluid flow.
Diaphragms seal the valve body and seat, ensuring no contact with the environment, making it suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is closed, the pressure seal that holds the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face of the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends and is forced towards the center of the seat area, effectively shutting off the flow path. The design of the valve body and pressure plate prevents the diaphragm from being pressed. The valve can be operated manually or by air, and it can also be controlled via a control top and solenoid valve.
It is widely applied to many fields, such as beer, beverage, dairy food, fruit juice, pharmacy, biological, etc.
