There are "TMPV7506XBG" which can connect up to 4 cameras and "TMPV7504XBG" which can connect up to 2 cameras.

In 2004, Toshiba listed the first product of its kind, LSI Visconti (hereinafter referred to as the original product). It is equipped with devices such as in-vehicle equipment and surveillance cameras that can identify pedestrians at night. As the name of the series, this time LSI is the second batch of products, improving the functionality and performance.

In addition to the gray camera supported by the original product, the two products can also connect a color camera with a maximum of 1.3 million pixels. It is said that while the accuracy of object recognition is improved, it can also be applied to signal lamp color and traffic sign detection applications that need to identify colors.

As mentioned above, this time the two products have added an image processing circuit to the original. The original product is image recognition integrated with three operating frequencies of 0.15GHz "MPE (Media Processing Engine)" and an image processing accelerator. This time, the image recognition integrates four "MPE" operating frequency 0.266GHz and six TMPV7506XBG, TMPV7504XBG five image processing accelerators. It is said that the new product achieves the low-power consumption comparable to the 3GHz-class microprocessor used in notebook computers with a working frequency of 0.266 GHz.

For the operating temperature range, Ta is -40 to +85°C and Tj is -40 to +125°C. The ball pitch is 1.0mm and is packaged in a 516-pin BGA package. The size of the package is 27mm x 27mm. Both products will begin sampling from November 2011. The sample price is 6,000 yen for TMPV7506XBG and 4000 yen for TMPV7504XBG (tax included).
