Lin Zhiqiang graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in June 1996 with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Lin Zhiqiang has devoted himself to the development and research of various types of diesel engines and technologies for a long period of time. He has solid theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience. He has a high degree of professionalism and a striving for better knowledge. He is keen to grasp the future direction of product development and has led research and development. A variety of leading and applicable engines met the requirements of the market and developed leading technology products for Yuchai and the automotive engine industry. Some of them also filled the domestic gap and achieved significant scientific and technological achievements. After joining Yuchai in December 2003, Lin Zhiqiang successively presided over the development of the YC6M 390Ps four-valve Euro 3 heavy-duty diesel engine and the YC6K 12- and 13-liter series engine; he was responsible for the completion of YC6J, YC4F, YC4W, YC4E, YC6G, and YC6M. A series of diesel engines met the requirements for the development of the Euro 3 combustion engine; more than 10 papers were published, 3 were EI-searched, and they were awarded the 2004 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Tianjin; 11 patents were obtained, including 1 invention patent.
