Guizhou Tianfu large modern coal chemical project completed and put into production

Recently, it was learned from Guizhou Tianfu Chemical Co., Ltd. that the company used the world's Shell coal gasification technology to successfully operate a large-scale coal ammonia plant. This marked the construction of the first circular economy phosphorus coal chemical eco-industrial pilot project in Guizhou Province using the most advanced clean coal gasification and coal chemical technology and equipment in the world today.
It is understood that the project has invested 3.2 billion yuan, which lasted for more than five years. The plant design capacity is to produce 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 200,000 tons of methanol and 150,000 tons of dimethyl ether per year. The estimated annual production value exceeds 1.5 billion yuan. The project gives full play to Guizhou Province's abundant resources in coal, phosphorus, and water, and is a large-scale modern coal chemical project that accelerates the development of the coal and phosphorus chemical industry in Guizhou, turning resource advantages into industrial and economic advantages.
Tianfu Chemical Coal Gasification Plant has introduced the patent technology of dry coal gasification from the Dutch Shell Company, which has the advantages of wide coal adaptability, high carbon conversion rate, high effective gas composition in the gas, low oxygen consumption, and low “three waste” emissions. Other key technologies also use advanced production technologies that are environmentally friendly, highly efficient, and energy-efficient. All of the discharged slag and ash are comprehensively utilized, and the treated wastewater meets the standards and is recycled.
It is reported that Guizhou Tianfu Chemical Co., Ltd. is a large-scale coal-energy-chemical integrated modern enterprise jointly established by two large Guizhou chemical companies, Chitianhua Co., Ltd. and Qifu Group Co., Ltd.
