Since July, the customs clearance and integration reform has been officially implemented nationwide.

Import and export companies can complete customs procedures such as declaration and taxation at any domestic customs, and do not have to travel back and forth between the local customs and port customs.

As of July 5, a total of 58 tickets were declared by enterprises in Wuhan Customs area under the “self-reported and self-paid” model.

According to a person in charge of Michelin China, in the past, it took an average of one day from the declaration to tax payment release for a single declaration form. In the self-reported and self-paid mode, it only takes more than 40 minutes and the time for customs clearance is greatly shortened.

Wuhan Customs stated that after the implementation of customs clearance integration reform, enterprises will enjoy many reform dividends such as “self-reporting and self-payment” of imported goods.

First, customs declaration can be made at any location to eliminate the restrictions on customs declaration.

Second, the customs law enforcement adopts uniform law enforcement calibers and supervisory standards to achieve "the whole country is one pass and one pass is closed to the world";

The third is to improve efficiency, simplify the procedures for customs clearance at ports, and reduce the time for companies to stay in ports, docks, and stations.
