Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. produced a total of 22,767 Yaris vehicles from May 15, 2008 to December 31, 2008.
Due to the supplier's reasons, some of the vehicles in the scope of this recall may be damaged when the airbag of the passenger's seat is deployed, causing the debris to fly out, which may damage the personnel inside the vehicle and pose a safety hazard.
