In Toyota’s list of recalled vehicles, 1.34 million vehicles were recalled because of defects in fuel pumps and connecting pipes, including Noah minivans sold in the Japanese market and 141,000 Avensis sold overseas. There are also about 335,000 Lexus models that need to be recalled due to a problem with an oil pressure sensor on the pipeline.

It is reported that these defects were caused after long-term use and were found later. The production time of the recalled vehicle model spans approximately 9 years. All 16 models use the same engine fuel pipe, resulting in an increase in the number of recalls. Toyota Motor’s recall costs are estimated to reach tens of billions of yen, which may adversely affect Toyota’s financial status.

A spokesman for Toyota China News said that Toyota has recalled some of the TOYOTACROWN (crown), MARKX, LEXUSIS250, IS350, GS300, and GS350 overseas. Since these models did not use defective parts in China, they were not confirmed The same hidden danger exists, so there is no need to recall it in China. At the same time, TOYOTANoah, Voxy, TOWNACE, LITEACE and other models that Toyota recalled overseas have not been introduced into the country and therefore do not involve the Chinese market.
