Yuchai Ships the third 5RT-flex50DF dual fuel engine successfully tested
On November 28, 2015, the third 5RT-flex50DF dual-fuel engine produced by Yuchai Marine was successfully tested. The main engine was used in the 15000DWT chemical tanker project of AVIC Dingheng Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and the ship owner was Terntank in Sweden.
Relevant parties attached great importance to the inspection of the aircraft. It is reported that the RT-flex50DF main engine is a new generation of low-pressure common rail dual-fuel engine. The main engine can operate stably in gas mode throughout the load range, and the fuel and gas modes can be directly and smoothly switched.
