Commercial fire in Shorewood, 7-28-23
From Jim Skrabel:
Hi everyone,
My son Chris and I got to the fire scene just as the first fire truck arrived and started spraying water on the flames. That 2 1/2 inch hose line did an amazing job putting out the main fire in no time. Great work by the firefighters!
By the way, this incident happened at a structure fire on 18600 South Route 59 in Troy. It was called in as a box alarm.
Take a look at these photos I took. They really capture the intensity of the situation. You can see the thick smoke and the powerful streams of water being used to extinguish the fire.
[Attached are several photos showing different angles of the fire scene. One image highlights the firefighters working hard with their equipment, while others show the extent of the smoke and flames.]
It's always impressive to witness how quickly and efficiently these professionals handle emergencies like this. I'm grateful for their dedication and skill.
Best regards,
Jim Skrabel
