Rough grinding wheel and grinding wheel

When the workpiece is ground, the coarse grinding wheel is used to perform high-speed clearance grinding, and then the fine grinding wheel performs fine processing and the workpiece surface is polished. Compared with the cup-type grinding wheel, the peripheral grinding process can produce a finer edge through a very small workpiece contact surface, so it can also better guarantee the high quality of the cutting edge.

In addition, in the production of indexable inserts with larger grinding allowances, coarser grinding wheels can be used with "Grind-to-Size" machining solutions. In this way, a blank can grind workpieces of different geometries without the need to place different blanks on the support. When grinding a wide range of geometries, JUNKER's unique peripheral grinding technology can reduce production time and increase production efficiency by nearly 60%: “So it can be said that JUNKER Group offers the highest productivity and indexability. JUWOP/SG Software Benefits

Having the JUWOP/SG integration package is one of the notable features of Platemat. Through parameter description, this software can make the control system and the machine tool coordinate with each other. Only a small number of parameters can be entered to define the blade grinding process and calculate the CNC grinding program for user operation. Non-standard contours can be programmed in a variety of ways, such as by setting precise start and end point data, or by programming the system to position edges or faces, and calculating intersection positions. The JUWOP/VG mode can also perform 3D simulations of machining processes.
