Shandong Haihua has two ammonia-alkali soda ash production lines. The original production capacity is 1.2 million tons/year. Since 2004, the advanced control technology of Zhonghua Software has successively developed and implemented two advanced soda ash control and optimization systems. Apply effects. After the completion of the 1.8 million t/y transformation and expansion of the new line soda ash plant in 2008, Shandong Haihua’s soda ash production scale reached 3 million tons/year, making it the largest soda ash producer in Asia. This project aims at the process characteristics and process control requirements of the new line of soda ash plant after expansion, and further upgrades and perfects the advanced control and optimization system to realize the “security, stability, long-term, full, and excellent” of this set of equipment, which is well received by users. . After this device adopts an advanced control system, it has good running stability and excellent product quality. After operation assessment and evaluation, it can generate direct economic benefits of RMB 8,302,400 per year.
The ammonia-alkali soda ash plant includes a lime process, a brine process, a carbonization process, a vapor-sucking process, a calcination process (light ash, heavy ash), a compression process, a filtration process, etc. The process flow is long, the production continuity is strong, and the process characteristics are complex. The conventional univariate control strategy is difficult to handle the process control problems of the soda equipment with multivariable, constrained and strong coupling characteristics. It still depends on the artificial experience control, the production stability is poor, and the quality of soda ash products cannot be guaranteed. high. Therefore, on the basis of DCS control, advanced control technologies based on multivariable predictive control and intelligent control are applied to develop and implement the advanced control and optimization system for the whole process of ammonia-alkali soda ash plant.
