Villa Park is added to the site

<

The Villa Park Fire Department, part of MABAS Division 12, has been recently added to the site. Covering just under five square miles, the department is staffed by 26 career firefighters operating out of two stations. Their fleet includes a mix of E-ONE and Pierce fire apparatus, along with Medtec and Horton ambulance units. The department now uses new station numbers assigned by DuPage County: 81 and 82. A recent photo shows the updated look of Station 82, where the once-white bay doors have been repainted in a striking red color. This change adds a fresh, modern touch to the station’s exterior. Below are two images capturing the transformation. The first shows Station 82 with its newly painted red doors, while the second displays the same station before the repaint, still featuring white doors. These photos offer a great visual comparison of the changes made to the facility. John Tulipano captured the red door image, while Larry Shapiro took the older shot of the white doors. Both provide a nice glimpse into the evolution of this local fire station.
