DuPage County fire department numbering (update)

Hi everyone, This is coming from CARMA Chicago: Villa Park Fire Department has recently started using new station and apparatus numbers on the DU-COMM Fire East system (frequency 154.415 MHz with a PL tone of 192.8). During a recent call, I caught the tail end of a dispatch where Engine 82 returned to quarters while Medic 81 was en route to Elmhurst Hospital. It seems like Villa Park FD has two active fire stations and possibly a reserve station as well. From what I understand, they are using 81 and 82 as their station numbers and front-line apparatus identifiers. However, I’m still unclear about which numbers they’re assigning to their reserve vehicles or any additional equipment. Does anyone have more information on this? For reference, here’s some context regarding the station numbers in DuPage County based on CARMA Chicago’s records: - Station 1 (at an unused location near St. Charles Road and Home Avenue) is designated as 81. - Station 2 (near Roosevelt Road) is marked as 82. - Reserves are listed under 83 and 84. I’ve also seen mentions of another potential station located just south of St. Charles Road, though it doesn’t appear to be currently in active use.
