Russia has no intention of opening agricultural machinery market in the past two years
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Nikolai Levchev, chairman of the Russian Party of Justice. He said that in order to support domestic agricultural producers, Russia does not intend to open the agricultural market and import foreign agricultural machinery and equipment in this and next two years. Putin said that the government will not make concessions to open up the domestic market to import agricultural machinery. Putin also commented on the proposal of Nikolai Levchev’s proposal to ban the import of agricultural machinery and equipment for importing agricultural machinery and equipment. He said that restrictions were imposed on corporate loans for imports of tractors, lawn mowers and other agricultural machinery and equipment, instead of Russian Production of agricultural machinery and equipment to relax loan conditions.
