Two international advanced cable products have been successfully developed in Qingdao
The reporter recently learned from the Municipal Economic and Trade Commission that Qingdao Qingxun Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully developed two new cable products tailored for the U.S. market, which are now recognized by American customers. These products have been evaluated by industry experts as being at the forefront of technological innovation in China's cable industry, marking a significant advancement in the field.
One of the new products is a metal-armored cable designed to meet the UL1569 standard in the United States. Unlike traditional methods that require cables to be installed in conduits, this product is directly embedded into the building walls during installation. It features two key innovations: first, it uses double-layer co-extrusion technology to produce a nylon sheath, solving common issues like eccentricity, cracking, and unevenness. Second, the company has developed its own armoring equipment and process, enabling a secure metal belt joint that meets specific requirements for safety, rust resistance, tensile strength, and protection against mechanical damage.
The second product is a power and control bracket cable designed according to the UL1277 standard. It uses environmentally friendly flame-retardant materials and also employs double-layer co-extrusion technology for the nylon sheath. The sheath can be customized with oil-resistant and high-temperature-resistant materials based on customer needs, ensuring compliance with the EU RoHS directive. Compared to standard cables, this product offers significantly improved environmental performance and mechanical properties.
These developments highlight Qingdao Qingxun Technology’s growing expertise in meeting international standards and its commitment to innovation, positioning itself as a key player in the global cable industry.
