March 22nd is World Water Day

This year, the theme is “Valuing Water,†which goes beyond just cost and looks at the environmental, social, and cultural value of water. The campaign encourages people to reflect on what water means to them and to participate in global conversations about its importance.
As part of this year’s celebration, the “World Water Run†will take place from March 16th to 22nd. This event aims to raise awareness about water as a finite resource and promote sustainable practices. Experts warn that by 2030, there could be a 40% shortfall in usable water supplies, making it even more urgent to protect and value this essential resource.
